| Marj Hammontree,
a Michigan native, has studied art and painting most of her life.
A former gallery owner, Marj's paintings appear in collections
throughout the United States, Europe and the Orient.
Marj's varied talents enable her to capture the carefree innocence of a Native American child, her colorful Native American pottery paintings reflect the intricate patterns of many cultures. Marj captures the fragile yet rich tapestry of florals and valued antiques. A versatile artist, her oil, pastel and watercolor exhibits include Southwest landscapes, still-life, Native American studies and florals. Marj is a juried member of Arizona Art Alliance, and a member of Scottsdale Artists League, Phoenix Artists Guild, and the Peoria Fine Arts Association.
